Moxy Tulum

Amazing stay here over New Years Check in was great with a welcome drink. Bonvoy status got you $10 USD per person per Day voucher which I thought was more than enough. There was also a continental breakfast, 4pm late check-out was approved no problem. Rooftop pool was bumping with the DJ and the restaurant had awesome food. Free games to play in lobby and 2 queen room was perfect. Only thing I wish was it had a mini fridge...The decor was top notch in and out with comfortable patio furniture and lots of beautiful plants and landscaping. Lots of cool areas to hang out. Free 5 hr bikes to rent. Close proximity to banks, shopping, supermarket, restaurants. National park was 10 min bike ride away with lots of beach clubs you can use for the day (600 MX per person min spend on menu and you got a great beach chair with towel and umbrella). One day we took bikes to zamas Beach Hotel for breakfast. Some staff were new and learning but overall I would highly recommend! An amazing Moxy. Great management and staff.

Stayed here for just under a week. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend it. The only issue we really faced was the shower leaking out water into the room. We informed the manager and he promptly got it fixed while providing us with the bathroom next door in the meantime. The service was great, we were constantly greeted by everyone. The rooms are quite small but for two people we did okay. It was slightly difficult to communicate with the housekeepers because they spoke only spanish but google translate worked fine. No microwave in the entire hotel however. I would return here and recommend it!

Moxy Tulum is the new place to be! Great location between the beach and El Centro, beautifully designed and very clean rooms, plus a fun rooftop pool. The staff is wonderful and super friendly. Special gracias to Ivan who saved me by booking an urgent last minute taxi to the bus stop when the driver I booked didn't show up. Muchas gracias! Highly recommended hotel. Enjoy your stay.

I stayed here for nearly three weeks, and it was the perfect base and location in Tulum. Luisa, David, Freddie, Juan Carlos, Emilio, and Alan were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They always had great suggestions on where to go, eat, and make the most of my time. The free bikes and rooftop pool were wonderful bonuses. You can easily walk to the beach, Aldea Zama, or Centro, which made exploring very convenient. Everyone working here truly wants to make your time in Tulum as amazing as possible—and they absolutely did. The common areas are fun, the food is great, and I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff really made the stay amazing. Everyone is so kind, greeted us every time we entered and they truly went above and beyond! Ricardo helped us find a local laundry, Alex is so much fun on karaoke night with a great voice as well as Miranda who joined me on Janis Joplin’s Me & Bobby McGee. Emilio is always great for a warm greeting that just makes you smile. Alan? I’m terrible with names, who checked us in was so helpful in many ways with our room. We were bummed that the hot tub was not heating up, but it did not ruin our stay. Even housekeeping was fantastic! I highly recommend the Moxy in Tulum. It is affordable, conveniently located, free parking that is always watched over (I didn’t catch his name. But he was a very attentive worker! Thank you!!), and this place is so much fun! We even made new friends! Thank you so much! If I’m back in Tulum again, I’ll see you then!

Fantastic hotel, staff, and service! I wanted to give a special shoutout to Alan the manager, Alanpoot the bartender, Luisa, Emilio, Ingrid, and all the rest of the staff who were so welcoming. The rooms are excellent and clean. The location is ideal because it's perfectly in between downtown and the beaches, so it's a short bike/car ride either way. The decor is really nice and comforting too. The drinks at the bar are to die for - highly, highly recommend the St. Germain Spritz! If you are looking to stay in Tulum, and especially if you're a Marriot member, check out the Moxy!

Modern, fun stay with great extras! I really enjoyed my stay at the Moxy Hotel. The hotel is brand new, modern, and has a great vibe. The pool area is perfect for relaxing after a day out. A big plus were the free bikes — super convenient for getting to the beach, restaurants in Aldea Zama, and even riding into town. It made getting around easy and fun. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Moxy Tulum is a great addition to the city! Stayed 2 nights and was very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and aesthetic of the hotel. The hotel is small but you’ll spend most of the day outside exploring and the location of this property is perfect for that. The hotel has a great bar perfect for a night cap and free bikes to rent. The beach is a 10 min bike ride from the hotel and within a ~15 min bike ride are several restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, taco stands and bars. It’s the ideal location. The staff were very friendly! The only thing I noticed was since the property was new taxi drivers and/or tour groups weren’t familiar with the location but if you tell them it’s south of the Aloft hotel they’ll know where to go. Can’t recommend enough!
